The two of you are about to start the most rewarding, exciting, life-changing experience of your lives together. Choosing someone to capture that day is a big decision. For this one special time in your life, something truly unique and meaningful is created just for you - through the infusion of your personal vision and a photographer’s artistic perspective. It’s this magic that I thrive on with every wedding I document, I never ask my couples of anything that is not honest. I am only interested in the real smiles, real expressions and real emotions. I have learnt during my time as a photographer that my favorite images are created when there is a genuine communication between the person I am photographing and myself.
This is our process:
1. Book the date.
The booking process is simple & easy to understand. Once we’ve connected and I’ve learned about your day, I’ll send you an information guide. Within this guide, you’ll find what services I offer and a breakdown of pricing. I typically like to chat with my clients either face to face at my home in Bieldside where we can chat over a coffee and I can show my sample wedding albums or on a phone call to be sure the package they have chosen will fit with their day. I can even customize one just for you! Once the deposit is received, you’re wedding photography is officially booked and we can move on to all the exciting details of your wedding day!
2. Keep in touch before your big day
I’m available whenever you need me before booking, leading up to your big day, and even after capturing your wedding day to discuss ideas or answer any extra questions you may have for me. I’ll send you my mobile number, so you can text, email, WhatsApp, Facetime, or call whenever you need me and I’ll be on the other end ready to help! The details needed are quite basic as I usually ask for a schedule of the day, a list of group shots you’d like as well as any ideas or unique parts of your day I should be in the right place at the right time for!
3. Yay! It's your wedding day
The best part!
After all the planning and waiting your big day is finally here! You worry about enjoying yourself and let me get to work! The wedding day is my favorite part of the whole process because I get a glimpse into my couple’s world and meet your parents, good friends and family members!!I also love getting to spend more time getting to know you both during our portrait sessions! I aim to get photos of all the important parts of your day because Iwant you to be able to share and enjoy them!
POST WEDDING:
4. The Edit
I edit each and every image individually. Photoshop any blemishes and soften skin. I will even Photoshop small things like unsightly background. Composition is very important to me and small distractions such as that can take away from the subject. This is a crucial part of being a photographer, composition is everything!
If you have special requests for retouching, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with
5. Delivering Memories.
You pay the final balance. The final product is based on your chosen package. This usually includes a customized online gallery. The gallery is accessed by your email and you can even share it with your family and friends. You can download it directly from the gallery. If you’d like you can even order prints and thank you cards. If your package comes with an album, this is where I put in some creative work! I’ll have you chooseyour chosenimages to include in your album while also choosing between leather, velvet or a linen cover. After that, I’ll design it wherebye you will then proof the layout and then I'll have it shipped to you in approx 6 weeks.
6. Moments Remembered.
Whoop Whoop! Your wedding album arrives.
You will always look back on these memories of the people you love. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll be reminded of every moment. When those loved ones are no longer with us, this is what you’ll turn to. You can sit back with a glass of wine, laugh and cry all you want! Share it with friends and family so they can relive all the fun and joy, too! A retelling of all the romance in chronological order.
