Hello Aberdeen!


Well this post is more than a little over due! I've been in Aberdeen now 4 months so I really should introduce myself… Hi! I’m Beverley! I'm a photographer mainly documenting weddings.

I recently moved to The Stables in Bieldside and it's my dream house (or it's going to be!) My husband and I have 2 very high energy but very loving bedlington terriers and if you get the chance to come to my home for a consultation they will give you plenty of kisses!


I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was 17 and regularly need to pinch myself that I have my dream business photographing beautiful weddings & wonderful families, firstly in London where I used to live and then in Perthshire for many years.


Alongside photography my other passion is Interior Design and after spending 8 years refurbing my last home I'm more than mad enough to try and do it all over again!

Describe your photography style?


Naturally beautiful – effortlessly romantic. I hope my images are warm and full of emotion. I am always looking to capture naturally beautiful connections that mean the world to my clients. I want you to love your images now and truly cherish them in years to come.

How did you get started in photography?


I had my first DSLR (a vintage Praktica) at the age of 17 and started photograpy while studying a Graphic design course. Photography was the only module I was any good at! Fast forward a few years and I transitioned to weddings just for friends and later I started shooting commercial, PR and lifestyle photography! I never trained formally but never stop learning – – the business continues to grow and adapt!

What camera do you shoot on? & your favourite lens?


I shoot with two Canon SLR's and quite a few prime lenses! My favourites are my 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8.


How many clients do you take every year?


For weddings I try to keep to 25-30 a year. I like to give each of my clients the best customer service I possibly can and that is only possible by limiting my numbers. I photograph quite a few family lifestyle shoots throughout the year also.


What are you looking forward to this year?


This year with the move to Aberdeen I get the chance to photograph new wedding venues so every single wedding & celebration feels all the sweeter! I’m looking forward to opening my dream studio space as soon as I can. Hopefully I will be very close to fully booked with dream clients for 2024 weddings – so I’m enjoying every single moment and looking forward to every bit of it!
