Kavya & Alan's Scottish + Indian Fusion Wedding
What better on a sunny September day than a riot of glorious colour and a beautiful Indian | Scottish wedding to share?
Today I'm sharing my gorgeous couple Kavya & Alan's wedding day.
They were married at Crieff Hydro Hotel and luckily chose me to capture their day. Kavya looked simply stunning in her saree and I love how she changed into another dress but his time teaming it with a tartan shawl for the dancing!
My day started with Kavya and her family at a lovely b&b in Crieff where they were getting ready, I love this part - the nerves, the chaos and sheer joy for this most magical day to begin!
Back at Crieff Hydro the piper stood ready for the wedding guests and bridal party.
The Loggia room hosted the intimate ceremony where I loved learning from Kavya's father the significance of the groom tying the mangalasutra (a sacred thread in Hinduism) around Kavya's neck.
After the ceremony and while their guests mingled and drank we snuck away for some photos in the Victorian Gardens and at The Viewpoint at The Knock - amazing views and a couple happy to pose and enjoy being photographed together.
Meal and speeches followed and then onto the disco + ceilidh, man this crowd know how to party!
